Tour Itinerary
We will confirm with you the flight number and check the exact time of arrival on the departure day. We will send you the tour guide’s name and phone number by email two days before departure, if she/he doesn’t show up, please contact he/her, or contact your travel advisor.
Meet Your Guide at the Airport, she/he will hold your name sign and wait at the arrival hall after luggage claim. Then transfer to Mutianyu Great Wall, it takes 1 hour and 10 minutes on the roadway to get to the site by your private vehicle.
Get off the car in the parking lot and hop on the shuttle bus to the foot of the Great Wall. Wy chooses Mutianyu Great Wall: there are five sections of the Great Wall in Beijing, and the Mutianyu section is the longest one.
The wall was been reconstructed to its former glory and you can walk for miles but it rapidly becomes strenuous as the wall follows the contour of the mountain top, Many of the stairs are very steep to go up to the watchtower portions. The wall stretches of the Great Wall are 22 kilometers long and have 22 watchtowers. the highest of which reaches an altitude of 540 meters above sea level, making it the most densely packed section of the Great Wall.
How to visit the wall
There are a few routes to choose from:
Go up to the Great Wall by cable car and stop at tower 14, make a physical challenge and walk for miles to tower 20, or see as much as can base on your physical condition.
Get downhill with two options
By cable car starting from tower 14 to the bottom, which includes in the price.
Optional: or whiz down by toboggan slide from tower 6, it is a thrilling experience with a bit fast speed, the view is awesome on the way down.
Transfer to the airport based on your time schedule, if have enough time for a visit, you can stay longer than your wish. Make sure to arrive at the airport 2 hours ahead of departure.

Good to Know
How to visit if people with walking problems: there is a slope from the ticket check to the cable car entrance. The consideration of pushing a wheelchair along the slope would be strenuous, disabled people can take a small two-wheeled cart (pulled by a person) for a cost of 200 RMB/one-way (400 RMB/round-trip) to get to the place where they can take the elevator to ride the cable car.

At the site: There is a small tourist-oriented village at the base filled with trinkets and food.
At Foot of the mountain: there are 3 restaurants nearby the shuttle bus station at the drop-off point, a Mubus Family Buffet, Yisonglou Chinese Restaurant, and a SUBWAY restaurant offering hamburgers, sandwiches hotdogs, and soft drinks.
On the Great Wall: no food and drink for sale on the wall, bring a bottle of water with you if you want to stay longer.
