Your international flight will land in Beijing. Our Beijing tour guide will welcome you at the arrival hall, and then your driver will transfer you directly to your hotel with a private car.

After a fresh breakfast, we will set off to discover the old part of Beijing. First, you will take a relaxing visit to the Temple of Heaven, where Chinese emperors used to worship God with their sacrifices.

And then walk on Tian'anmen Square, which is the largest city square in the world. Later, have a Chinese lunch and take a short break.

Your tour guide will help you explore 12 carefully-selected places in the Forbidden City, to discover the deep secrets of the emperors and concubines of the Ming and Qing dynasties.

Continue our tour to Jingshan Park, climb up to the mountain get the whole views of the Forbidden City and Hutong area.

Dinner recommendation: Spice up your trip with a hot pot dinner at Haidilao Hot Pot Restaurant.

The less-crowded Mutianyu Great Wall section is about 2.5 hours' drive from downtown Beijing.

A cable car will take you to a good section (avoiding a very steep climb), where you can walk along the wall, through the watchtowers, and enjoy superb views as it snakes across the hills and mountains.

You will return by slideway and get a more fun experience. You could also choose to get down by chairlift or walk.

• A Chinese massage will be a cure for your tired body after the Great Wall hiking and you can get to know the essence of Chinese traditional massage.
• In the evening, you can have a watch an exciting Red Theater Beijing Kung Fu Show.

We will zip around the narrow Hutong by rickshaws and visit a local family. Pictures of local daily life will be unfolded for you. And then you will learn how to make a traditional Chinese Paper Cut in the Hutong area.

Enjoy Peking Roast Duck as a Beijing farewell lunch and learn how to eat in the correct way.

Take a 5-hour High-speed train from Beijing to Xi’an to feel Chinese speed.

Free time to explore ideas:

• Walk around Muslim Square to find typical Xi’an food. Imagine pita bread with lamb and Chinese noodles!

First, you will discover the wonder of ancient China: Terracotta Warriors and Horses. The first emperor of China - Qin Shi Huang, had his tomb built along with thousands of clay warriors, horses, and battle chariots in hopes to rule his afterlife world.

Later we will learn how to make Terracotta Warrior at a cave-dwelling and find out more about the history of the Terracotta Army.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

Back to the city, you will cycle on the Ancient City Wall and enjoy the sunset on this over 600 years old wall.

Flight from Xi'an to Chongqing

We will go to Chongqing Zoo to see cute giant pandas.

After a Chinese lunch at a local restaurant, we will go to Ciqikou Old Town. This lively old area has been partly restored and remains an authentic and busy community.

After the visit, you will be transferred to the port for your cruise. Boarding time at between 19:00 and 21:00

Get off the board to visit Shibaozhai which was built in the Qing Dynasty in 1750. With a height of 56 meters and 12 stories, the wooden architectures stand on the riverside and was built upon sheer cliffs.

In the morning, the cruise will pass 2 gorges of the Three Gorges--Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge.

The scenery there is amazing. In the afternoon, have a shore excursion on Shennong Stream. You have the option of visiting White Emperor City(RMB290 per person).

And then take flight from Yichang to Shanghai.

You have been advised to find typical food in Shanghai's old streets and don’t miss the taste Nanxiang soup dumplings.

You will experience the ancient and modern sections of Shanghai in a day.

After breakfast, we will In-depth Bund Culture Discovery to get a taste of 1920s Shanghai. Have a bird eye view of Shanghai in the top of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. There, you will also visit a wax museum.

Have a visit to Yuyuan Garden, a typical Suzhou-style garden. Later, carry on the tour at French Concession.
